The best resin screen protectors should be easy to install, have no bubbles after installation, and be strong enough to absorb resin leaks from the FEP sheets. Many users are often conflicted about which one to buy, so I wrote an article to answer which resin printer screen protectors are the best in the market today.

The Mach5ive Screen Saver is made of high-grade PET plastic and is 0.13mm thick. The thickness ensures enough light passes through without compromising its resistance to UV rays. It has a transparency of 93%, which might mean you may have to increase your exposure time.
One user said the installation was easy as long as you follow the instructions. He also said you need a very clean room because the static on the screen protector is intense.
It can easily attract dust, so ensure the surrounding area and the room is clean, though the lid is usually on. He said the screen protector had given him no issues so far and would continue to observe it.
Another user who had a spill when the FEP film was punctured said no resin got on his screen because of the screen protector. He said he would continue to use this brand.
A user said to use the smoothing tool when installing to avoid air bubbles building up. He complained about the company changing its smoothing tool from a solid plastic with a rubberized edge to a less effective semi-sturdy cardboard tool with a rubberized edge.
He said the new tool bent when he tried smoothing the surface of his screen protector, so used the old one.
One user forgot to tighten down the vat, so his prints weren’t peeling off from the FEP film but were pushing the prints down repeatedly into the screen protector. This badly damaged his screen protector, but there wasn’t a single scratch on his screen.
A user who ordered a Saturn 2 screen protector found out they gave him a Saturn S screen protector. Due to the difference in size, he couldn’t install it.
He reached out to the manufacturer, who said it was a labeling problem from Amazon and said they would send him the right-sized screen protector.
Most users agree it’s a solid product, but some have trouble installing the screen protector. Either the static is too strong, or bubbles build up. Although, we can also see from many of the comments, following the instructions accurately should help you avoid these problems.

The Anycubic Mono X Screen Protector is another excellent option. It’s an 8.9-inch screen protector compatible with ANYCUBIC Photon Mono X, NOVA3D Whale 2, Elegoo Saturn, Photon M3 Plus, Halot Lite, and HALOT Sky 3D Printer screens.
It is also available in 6.23 inches for the Anycubic Photon Mono 4K Screen Protector and comes in a pack of 5.

The Anycubic Mono X Screen Protector has a light transparency of 96.9% and is 0.1mm thick. This protects the screen from starches and spillage.
One user recommends using black tape/gasket around the border to hold the screen protector in place. He said the screen protector didn’t cover the edges of the screen by design.
He also said it was difficult getting air bubbles out, but it did its job when a pin-size leakage filled from his FEP film.
Another user echoed the same option about the screen protector protecting his screen from some small spillage but recommended getting one because it comes in a set.
A user complained it wasn’t easy to install and struggled a little. He finally got it but wasted one screen protector.
Most users are happy with the product. One major complaint was a user mistakenly ordered the smaller 6.23-inch screen protector instead of the 8.9-inch one. Other complaints were installation related, which can be resolved with a Google search or YouTube video.

The KOYOFEI Screen Protector is made of PET material from Japan and is 95% transparent. This ensures the print accuracy isn’t disturbed since 95% of the 405nm wavelength of ultraviolet rays can easily pass through it. Its double-sided lamination means it also prevents scratches.
Screen Protector: 6.66-inch screen protector can just cover the LCD screen of the 6.66 inch resin 3D printers, preventing the resin from contaminating the screen when FEP damaged, adding or recycling resin, thereby prolonging the use time of the LCD screen and saving the cost of replacing the screen.

One user who says he hates screen protectors because of the difficulty of fitting and maintaining them said this brand was of good quality. He said the screen protector didn’t affect his prints and fit perfectly on his Photon 3D printer. He mentioned he would order more because of the quality and fast delivery time.
Another user said he had a resin spill on his Photon screen in the past, and it cost him a lot to replace that screen. He recommended people should deal with using screen protectors as they can save a lot in the future.
A user said the size he ordered was too big for his Mars 3 3D printer. This led to other issues like air bubbles under the screen protector, torn or worse, failed prints. All of this led this user to suggest a protective shield.
One user who liked the brand complained about the screen protector stuck to the FEP film each time the build plate lifted, leading to a failed print.
Most users were satisfied with the product. One major complaint was the screen size wasn’t the right fit for their 3D printer. This may be from the supplier or the user not getting the exact measurement. Whichever the case may be, there is general satisfaction from most customers.
The Sovol 3D Screen Protector is a good choice. It comes in two sizes, small and large. The small size can cover screens between 5.5 inches and 6.1 inches. The Sovol 3D Screen Protector’s small size comes with a gasket edge which helps to seal up the edges of the screen.
This leaves no space between the screen and the vat. It also has a transparency of 95%, ensuring it doesn’t interrupt your print.

One user who used this screen protector on his Elegoo Mars 2 said it saved him from having to replace his screen. He noticed that after a failed print, there was a build up of cured resin on the screen, but since the screen protector was there, he just had to replace that and not the screen.
Another user said he makes sure to always have a screen protector on his resin 3D printers after his first resin leak that ruined an expensive machine. A leak happened again, but with the screen protector, it wasn’t an issue.
One user outright didn’t like the product and called it a cheap, hard plastic foil that you cut out yourself.
