  1. Just in case it saves someone some frustration: TLDR; check the enclosure temperature.

    I had the same issue where the printer would stop extruding mid-print. I would start it again an hour later and it would print perfectly until approximately the same time in the print. This would happen for the different models and similar filaments.

    When trying to change filament after this issue, I always found the filament was difficult to pull out of the bowden tube.

    I tracked the issue down to my enclosure which was getting too warm. I think the filament was getting close to the glass temperature and deforming slightly into an oval shape when going through the extruder. This in turn made it difficult to push through the bowden tube. At the start of the print the enclosure was cool and took a while to warm up.

  2. First time this happened to me it was a faulty stepper driver for the Z axis and the second time it happened it was a loose TFT connection
